Privacy Policy

Till's Golf Pool at golf.tilldbq.com is a private, friends-only golf pool run by an individual as a hobby project ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to request removal of your data.
What we collect
- Google account profile — your name, email address, and Google subject ID — only when you sign in with Google.
- Pool entries — the picks you submit during an active tournament.
- Email preferences — whether you opted in to round-recap and daily-recap emails.
What we do with it
- Authenticate you and associate your picks with your account.
- Send tournament recap emails if you opted in.
- Display your name and standings on the pool leaderboard to other pool participants.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
- We do not share data with anyone outside the pool.
Third-party services
- Google Sign-In — used for authentication. Google's own privacy policy governs data they handle on their end.
- ESPN — public leaderboard data is fetched from ESPN's public API. No personal data is sent to ESPN.
Retention
We keep account and pool-entry data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time by emailing the address below.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from recap emails — use the unsubscribe link in any recap email, or turn off emails from your profile page.
- Delete your account and data — email golf@tilldbq.com and we will remove your account and all associated picks.
Updates to this policy
Because this is a hobby project, this policy may be updated at any time without advance notice. The current version posted at golf.tilldbq.com/privacy always supersedes any prior version. Continuing to use the site after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy. If you have questions about a change, just email us.
